INGREDIENTS U NEED:
1.Vendakai/okra/bendakaya/ladies finger-1/4kg(chopped)2.Onion-1(chopped finely)
3.Green chilli-3(chopped finely)
4.Curd-2cup(add little water and beat well)
5.Ginger-1inch(crushed)
6.Toor dhal-1tbs(soak in the water for 1hr)
7.Raw rice-1tbs(soak int he water for 1hr)
8.Turmeric powder-pinch
9.Seasoning-1/2tbs(Mustard,cumin,curry leaves)
10.Oil-2tbs
11.Salt-as per taste
12.Corriander leaves-to garnish(chopped)
UTENSIL:
Nonstick pan
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
- First grind the soaked toor dhal, raw rice,ginger with little water which has to thick.
- Mix the curd with grinded dhal ,salt and turmeric powder
- In a pan add little oil,seasoning,green chilli,onions,vendakai fry it untill dry(it should not be sticky)
- Then add mixed curd and let it boil for 5mins and keep stiring continuously and finally garnish with corriander leaves.
U can add vegetables like raddish or pumpkin instead of okra.
GOES WELL WITH:
Plain rice and Ragi ball
