Morkuzhambu ~ Deepa

Mor Kulambu is a very famous gravy made with curd and vegetable in lunch meal for functions in Tamilnadu which i adopted from my friend deepa.The preparation of this dish is very easy and tasty when you keep all the ingredients ready. The ideal combination for this kuzhambu would be paruppu usili.So try it out...

INGREDIENTS:
1.Potatos - 2(u can use any vegetables like drumsticks,pumpkin,beans,ladies finger)
2.Sour curd - 1cup
3.Corriander seeds- 1tbs
4.Green chilly -3
5.Cumin seeds - 2tbs
6.Coconut - 1/2cup
7.Corriander leaves-few
8.Curry leaves-few
9.Oil-2tbs
10.Salt-as per taste

GRIND:
Corriander seeds
Green chilly
Cumin seeds
Coconut

METHOD OF PREPARATION:
  • Cook the vegetables of your choice and keep it aside
  • In a pan add oil,mustard seeds,red chilly,asafoedia and add the cooked vegetable and cook it for 5mins
  • Mix the grinded ingredients in the curd and pour it in the pan and add salt and let it boil for few mins in the medium heat and garnish with corriander leaves and curry leaves
GOES WELL WITH:
     Plain rice
