INGREDIENTS U NEED:
1.Spinach/Palak-1bunch2.Green chilli-5
3.Onion-1medium(chopped)
4.Tamarind-2inch
7.Salt-as per taste
8.Seasoning-1tbs(mustard,cumin)Or vadagam
9.Oil-2tbs
UTENSIL:
Deep bottomed pan
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
- First wash the leaves properly in a water and chopped coarsly.
- In a vessel add spinach,green chilli,onion,tamarind and enough water,cover them and cook them untill they collapse and reduce in volume and thick
- At this stage add salt and mash with the masher coarsly.
- Do the tempering with vadagam or mustard and cumin seeds and pour it into the mashed spinach and mix well.
GOES WELL WITH:
Plain rice and ragi ball
