INGREDIENTS U NEED:
1.Tilapia - 5 fillets cleaned
2.Onions-1(finely chopped)
3.Fenugreek seeds - 1/4tbs
4.Tomato - 1(chopped)
5.Garlic - 5cloves
6.Tamarind extract- 2cup
7.Gingelly oil-2tbs
8.Chilly powder-2tbs
9.Turmeric powder-pinch
GRIND:
Coconut -1/2cup with little water
UTENSIL:
Deep bottomed pan or Meen chatti(clay pot)
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
- Heat little more oil in a pan , add mustard seeds,fenugreek seeds,curry leaves,garlic,onions saute it untill brown
- Then add tomatoes,chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt and little water let it cook for 10 mins
- Add tamarind extract and let it boil for few mins and then add grinded coconut and let it boil
- Finally add fish let it cook for 5mins and its ready to serve
