Cabbage Roti

Roti is a flat bread made with wheat flour or any kind of flour .There are many kinds and many ways of preparing roti with lot of stuffing can also be used while kneading the dough and can give yummy twist to the normal roti .Now i am making roti with cabbage which is very simple and easy to make ,i usually make rotis for dinner so here goes the receipe....

INGREDIENTS U NEED:
1.Cabbage - 1cup(finely chopped)
2.Wheat flour - 2cup
3.Garlic-2cloves
4.Ginger-2inch
5.Green chilly-3-4
6.Oil
7.Salt-as needed

UTENSIL:
Chapathi or wide  pan

GRIND:
Ginger
Garlic
Green chilli

METHOD OF PREPARATION:
  • In a large bowl add wheat flour,grinded mix(or chilli powder), chopped cabbage,salt ,little oil  and add little enough water and knead to form a stiff dough and add little more oil and knead for few more mins(Unlike other rotis for cabbage roti make the dough a little more stiff as the dough tends to soften because of the cabbage)
  • Let the dough rest for 15-30mins and knead the dough again and divide the dough into small lemon sized balls (the more softer the dough is the softer the rotis are)
  • Heat a pan or tawa
  • Meanwhile with the help of a little flour roll out the dough into a circle of desired thickness.
  • Place the rolled out dough on the flat pan and let it cook on one side for a minute and flip the other side and cook both sides for a few seconds untill brown spots on them
  • Apply a few drops of oil on the top side of the roti and flip over and apply oil to the other side as well and serve hot. 
GOES WELL WITH:
   Mango pickle and raita
