METHOD OF PREPARATION:
- First in a medium bowl,add chili powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder and salt and mix it together without adding water and apply this mixture in between the cut brinjal.
- Now In a pan add oil,mustard,urad dhal,once it starts spluttering add onion, asafoetida and the stuffed brinjal and close the lid let it cook for 10mins in the medium flame.
- Then add little thick tamarind pulp water and let it cook for 5-10mins or untill oil comes up on top.
- Finally add fried sesame seeds powder and.methi powder and switch off the gas immediately.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
GOES WELL WITH:
White rice and Biryani
