Pesarattu is traditional andhra pradesh breakfast is prepared with whole green gram dhal and rice which is very tasty, healthy and nutritious dish it is the best breakfast in the morning with chutney which i make it so often.Everybody makes it different way but this is how i make it so give it a try .
INGREDIENTS U NEED:
2.Split moong dhal-1cup
3.Raw rice-1cup
4.Green chilli-4-5nos
5.Ginger-1inch
6.Onions-1(chopped)
7.Oil-as needed
8.Salt-as needed
UTENSIL:
Dosa pan
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
- First soak moong dhal and rice for 5-6hrs and drain the water and grind it with salt, green chilli and ginger to a coarse batter.
- Heat a dosa pan and pour the batter in the dosa maker little thick and add chopped onions on top of that dosa and cook it for 3mins each side with little oil and serve it hot.
GOES WELL WITH:
Peanut chutney
