Mint with Corriander Chutney with Coconut

Mint corriander chutney is perfect for using as a dipping sauce with breads ,party snacks like cutlets,samosas and even goes well with plain rice too.This chutney also serves with main course dishes like biryani which i got it from MIL .Chutneys add a great taste to our meal.Follow this tongue tingling chutney receipe..

INGREDIENTS U NEED:
1.Mint - 1bunch(Remove the leaves and wash it)
2.Corriander- 1bunch(Remove the leaves and wash it)
3.Green chilli - 4
4.Garlic - 4cloves
5.Tamarind-2inch
6.Salt-as per taste
7.Oil
8.Seasoning-1tbs(mustard,cumin)
9.Coconut-1/4cup(fry it in the pan without oil)(optional)

METHOD OF PREPARATION:
  • Heat oil in a pan add oil,add green chilli fry it and then add mint and corriander leaves fry untill the leaves shrink
  • Grind the fried leaves with tamarind,garlic ,salt and grated coconut untill smooth paste
  • Then do the tempering with  mustard seeds and cumin and mix it well together.
GOES WELL WITH:
    Idly and Dosa
