Rava Idly with Instant Idly Rava

Rava idly is easy to make compare to regular idly which  is nutritious as well as filling too.It is one of the popular south indian breakfast which is very different from the traditional idly which can be made anytime as well as eaten anytime.U need just two ingredients to fix this idly.Here is the proportion for making rava idly........

INGREDIENTS U NEED:
1.Idly rava -4cup
2.Urad dhal-1cup(soak in the water for 3hours)
3.Salt-as needed

UTENSIL:
Idly maker

METHOD OF PREPARATION:  
  • First grind the urad dhal  seperately and smoothly and in that add idly rava and grind it again and make sure it is all mixed well with little salt and let ferment overnight.
  • Grease idly plates with little oil and pour the rava batter and steam them on medium flame for 10-15mins.
  • Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5mins then remove the rava idlies carefully with spatula and serve hot.
NOTE:
You can add any vegetables in the batter of your choice like chopped beans,grated carrot,peas etc


 GOES WELL WITH:
     Peanut chutney and sambar
